Haha the frustration is real. On the bright side the new hub is way faster.
iot_maker: Totally agree — I had the same issue and solved it by reconfiguring the hub. Took me longer than expected that setting.

Honestly, I'd recommend Node-RED over Smartthings for your case. Keep in mind the tradeoff.
